Lots of our lovely clients come from quite a distance to visit our little boutique in Chelsea, so they usually want to make a day out of their visit. They are in one of the most sought-after boroughs in London, after all! So, with this in mind, we’ve put together a little guide of things to do in Chelsea on the day of your shoe fitting. Enjoy!

Art Inspiration at Saatchi Gallery

With experimental exhibitions and wonderful contemporary work from rising artists, the Saatchi Gallery on Kings Road is a must-see spot in Chelsea. The gorgeous building and beautiful setting only add to its obvious appeal, and it’s renowned amongst the world of art critics and lovers. In March 2018, the gallery is hosting the Glamour Beauty Festival a perfect accompaniment to a shoe fitting! Get some inspiration for your wedding day with a touch of art!

Afternoon Tea at Beaufort House

Treat your faithful bridesmaids, mum or whoever has travelled with you to the Emmy London boutique to a spot of afternoon tea at Beaufort House. You’ll probably need a little refresher after a day of shoe-fitting and exploring, so take some time for a break! It’s also a fabulous opportunity to discuss all your weddings plans and thank your friends and/or family for their endless help and support.

Take a Wander

If you’re lucky enough to have beautiful weather, head to Chelsea Physic Gardens and immerse yourself in a wealth of plant life and nature. Not only beautiful, this botanic garden (the oldest in London, actually) is incredibly interesting and steeped in botanical history. You never know, you may find your perfect wedding venue here or get some floral inspiration for your day!

Dress Shopping

If shoes are the most important item on your list and you haven’t thought much about the rest of your bridal outfit or the outfits of your bridal party then you could take a peep at the gorgeous boutiques and department stores around Chelsea. You could also take your bridesmaids or mum and look for their perfect outfits – it’s certainly a productive use of time... and fun too!

If you want any more inspiration for things to do in the local area, then we’ll be more than happy to discuss the area that we love with you at your fitting. We look forward to welcoming you to Chelsea!
