Your Emmy London shoes and accessories are meticulously handcrafted using the highest quality materials. Every pair is the result of careful craftsmanship by our skilled shoemakers in Porto, Portugal. From the fine nap of our kid suede to the delicate embroidery, attention to detail is essential in everything we do.
To maintain the quality of the suede, use a wolly cleaning block that works similarly to a rubber to remove marks (see adjacent video). We sell these at the Emmy boutique, or you can purchase them here.
Where possible (especially with our lighter suede shoes) try to avoid wet conditions. You can protect your shoes with a suede spray but please read the instructions fully before using. We do not protect our shoes with spray as once sprayed your shoes cannot be dyed.
To help maintain your leather item, delicately clean your shoes or clutch bag with a damp cloth. Emmy recommends using a neutral polish to avoid colour mismatches and keeping them away from heat.
Leather is vulnerable to wear over time, so please take precautions to avoid walking and standing on surfaces that can damage leather-covered heels.
Given the delicate nature of this material, care should be taken when fastening and adjusting the buckles on the straps. To keep your metallic leather in tip-top condition, clean it delicately with a slightly damp cloth and ensure it is kept away from heat.
We use dazzling beads, shells, mirror glass, sequins, and crystals to create our trims. Each detail is hand-beaded by exceptionally talented craftsmen and women. With hand-beading, each embellishment is unique and created with care and meticulous attention to detail.
If, after a night of dancing, you find a few missing beads or crystals, we offer a repair service. Please see below for more details.
